Grow the elegant Blue Lily with this easy seed kit. Agapanthus praecox, commonly known as the Blue Lily, is a beautiful evergreen plant admired for its graceful flowers and classic presence in the garden.

This indigenous species produces dense clusters of blue flowers held high on slender stems, creating a striking display in mid- to late summer. The plants grow to around 1 metre tall and are well suited to garden beds, borders and sunny planting areas.

Blue Lilies thrive in full sun or semi-shade, although flowering is usually more abundant in sunny positions. Their tidy form and reliable flowering make them a popular choice for many South African gardens.

The pack contains five Agapanthus praecox seeds, along with Cape Seed Smoke Primer to help trigger germination. It is packaged in a self-sealing cellophane sleeve, making it easy to send as a thoughtful gardening gift.

I was a bit reluctant bc of pics and reviews seen/read but took my chance and maybe there are just not consistent batches with the company. Not sure - but mine was gross and the one I had the other day was incredible from a store. This was scraps and full of fat and wouldn’t eat it and I can tell you so much fat that there is no way it would be 6g of fat for a bag. Quality control needs to be on. I don’t think I’ll buy this again. Sending it back.

It is a paper bag you are supposed to keep the leftovers in in the refrigerator. You can also freeze extra biltong for later and thaw it out in the refrigerator as I'm doing now. I have tried a lot of biltong in my lifetime and used to eat it in Africa on a regular basis. Now that I'm back in America I keep trying different biltong companies to see who is the best.
